Sander Steenbrink

Sander Steenbrink is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mechanical and maritime structures. Since October 2007, Sander has served as General Manager of Corporate Research & Development at Boskalis and has also held the position of Manager of the Dredging Development Department & Survey. Additionally, Sander is a member of the Economic Development Board for Drechtsteden since 2017 and serves as the Chair of the Professional Field Committee at the faculty of 3mE at Technische Universiteit Delft. Prior experience includes managerial roles at TNO from 1997 to 2007 and a PhD research position at FOM from 1993 to 1997, where Sander focused on the deformation and fracture of amorphous polymer-rubber blends. Sander earned both an MSc and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology between 1985 and 1992.
