Maarten Frieswijk has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Maarten started their career at Aardappelhandel Ger Verkerk BV as a Sales and Acting Store Manager from September 1999 to June 2001. Maarten then worked as a Summer Intern at Gemeente Den Haag in 2002. In the same year, they also had a Summer Internship at the University of Porto. From 2000 to 2001, they attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they studied History Teacher Education.
In 2001, they transferred to Leiden University and pursued a field of study in Archaeology until 2002.
