Vincent Sterel

Vincent Sterel is a freelance consultant and project manager at Brill. As a project manager, Vincent oversees the Handbook series on Sufism, liaising with authors and editors to ensure timely chapter submissions. Additionally, Vincent works as a database developer, transforming a voluminous Arabic book into an interactive online database for a PDF volume on hadith studies. Prior to their current roles, Vincent gained experience as a data entry specialist at NLO, a research assistant at Leiden University, and a writing centre consultant at Colgate University. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Latin American Studies, and a Research Masters in Middle Eastern Studies from Leiden University.
