Jacques Sluysmans is a professor of Expropriation Law at Radboud University Nijmegen since February 2013 and has held various significant positions in multiple organizations, including serving as a member of the Supervisory Board at Stichting Haags Historisch Museum and Koninklijke Wandel Bond Nederland (KWBN), and as a board member at Firma MES and ANWB. In addition to these roles, Jacques Sluysmans has been the chairman of the Vereniging voor Onteigeningsrecht since September 2011 and previously chaired the Vereniging voor Bouwrecht until December 2021. Jacques Sluysmans has extensive legal experience as a lawyer and partner at Van der Feltz advocaten and has worked at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Academically, Jacques Sluysmans earned a PhD in Law with a focus on expropriation law from Leiden University and has held visiting positions at several prestigious institutions.
