Claudia Salazar

Claudia Salazar, Psy.D, is an experienced therapist and owner of The Center for Effective Psychological Services PLLC, providing therapy and psychoeducational services since September 2007. Salazar specializes in short-term therapy for professionals in organizations that support vulnerable communities. Additionally, as a Staff Care and Resilience Consultant for The KonTerra Group since June 2016, Salazar offers counseling and conducts workshops focused on communication, work-life balance, and stress management. Previously, Salazar served as a Short-Term Psychological Consultant for The World Bank from July 2018 to June 2022 and held various academic positions, including adjunct faculty and associate clinical faculty at prestigious institutions. Salazar's education includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University and a degree in Psychology from Universidad de Los Andes.
