Amir Nooriala has held a variety of roles in the finance industry since 2016. In that year, they became a Trustee for the charity Making The Leap, as well as the UK Social Mobility Awards. In 2018, they were appointed Chief Strategy Officer at OakNorth Bank. In 2019, they co-founded FinTech North London, a meet-up for founders and C-Levels of the biggest FinTech scale-ups. In 2020, they became a Mentor and FinTech Judge at Tech Nation, Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at Callsign, and Co-Founder of Norlon, Boyd and Gall Investments. In 2021, they became an Independent Non-Executive Director at eXate. In 2022, they were appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director at Konvi and a Mentor at Fintech Saudi. Finally, in 2023, they became a Managing Partner at Aurias.
Amir Nooriala attended the University of Nottingham from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a BSc in Computer Science. Prior to this, they attended University College School from 1990 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained the SMF24 Chief Operations Function certification from the Financial Conduct Authority in July 2018.
