Gerben Hilboldt

Gerben Hilboldt has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the engineering and automotive industries. Gerben is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at NieuweWeme Group, where they oversee the development, engineering, production, and distribution of complete projects and specialized containers for green ammonia transportation, energy storage, desalination, and other solutions. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Smart Grid B.V., where they focused on providing energy storage systems and smart technologies for industrial and mobile applications. Before that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Koolen Industries, where their focus was on enabling individuals to contribute to the energy transition through the use of clean and renewable energy sources. Hilboldt also has experience as the Founder and Director of Hilboldt Holding BV, Founder and President & CEO of Logena Automotive LLC and Logena Automotive BV, and in various roles at DAF Trucks NV and Volkswagen. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in embedded software development, vehicle network architecture, and diagnostic tools.

Gerben Hilboldt attended MTS Enschede from 1990 to 1991, where they studied PLC programming, Electronics, and Microcomputer technique. From 1991 to 1996, they attended MTS Car technique, specializing in Car electronics and Diesel technique. Finally, from 1998 to 2000, Gerben studied Real-time C programming at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN). No degree names were provided for any of these education experiences.
