Karen Cuesta

Karen Cuesta has a diverse work experience in various roles. Karen started their career at Sugar Network for Design Innovation, where they worked as an Industrial Engineer in the ME310 Stanford's Program, focusing on Design Thinking. Karen then joined Henkel as an Innovation Consultant in Design Thinking, working with NTNU and Henkel. After that, they worked at Swapps as an IT Project Manager and Product Owner, leading a team of 4 software developers and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Currently, they are working as a Senior IT Project Manager at Koombea.

Karen Cuesta completed their high school education at Colegio Berchmans in the year 2010. Karen then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali from 2010 to 2016. Karen has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2011, they earned the International Event and Wedding Planning Professional certification from QC School of Event Planning. In 2014, they completed the Design Thinking P8i Research Workshop at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali. In 2015, Karen obtained the XII Congreso Latinoamericano IIE certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers. In 2019, they earned the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from IASSC. More recently, in 2020, Karen obtained the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google Digital Garage and the Introducción al Marketing Digital certification from Platzi.
