Karen Cabell

Karen Cabell has been a Chief Physician Executive at Kootenai Health since December 2016. Prior to that, they were the Chief Quality and Safety Officer at Billings Clinic from July 2003 to December 2016. During their time at Billings Clinic, they worked on population health initiatives, inpatient and outpatient quality programs, patient safety, infection control, and Medicare shared savings programs and commercial ACO. Karen also has experience with care management and utilization management.

Karen Cabell attended the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and the Indiana University Bloomington.

Karen Cabell reports to Jon Ness, CEO. They are on a team with John Weinsheim - EVP of Kootenai Clinic, Dan Klocko - CHRO, and Kelly Espinoza - Chief Nursing Officer.
