Bryoney Cook

Bryoney Cook has a diverse work experience background. Bryoney began their career as an Administrative/Executive Officer at the Department for Work and Pensions before moving on to roles such as Customer Service Manager, Scottish Welfare Fund Assistant, and Regulatory Caseworker. In 2019, they worked as an International Account Manager before transitioning to a Social Prescribing Link Worker at NHS England. Currently, Bryoney is serving as a Mental Health Engagement Lead at Kooth plc while pursuing their passion for poetry, having been published and involved in various poetry events and courses since 2022. Additionally, they have experience as an Independent Celebrant with BC Bespoke Ceremonies.

Bryoney Cook completed their MA (hons) in American Studies and English at the University of Dundee from 2003 to 2007. Bryoney then pursued a Grad Cert in Counselling Skills at Abertay University from 2012 to 2013. In 2020, Bryoney obtained a Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples Celebrancy from Civil Ceremonies Ltd. Bryoney further expanded their skills by completing a Level 3 in Coaching and Mentoring at the Chartered Management Institute from 2022 to 2023. Additionally, Bryoney obtained certifications in Child Protection Advanced from Tes in 2023 and 2024, along with completing a course in COVID-19: Psychological First Aid from Public Health England in 2020.
