Kim Lanier

Kim Lanier has extensive experience in project management and software development. From November 2022, they are currently working as a Project Manager at Kopis. Previously, they worked at Viasat Inc. from March 2020 to July 2022 as a Software Project Manager, where they served as a liaison between project and software development teams. Kim collaborated with stakeholders to gather and review project requirements, determined resource requirements, assessed project risks, and resolved issues proactively. Kim also managed project schedules and budgets, facilitated status meetings, and communicated progress and concerns to management. Kim was responsible for managing software development, schedules, and budgets for multiple programs simultaneously. Additionally, they automated EAC reporting using Excel VBA and reported EAC, SPI, and CPI to management. Before joining Viasat Inc., Kim Lanier held various project management roles, including IT Project Manager, Service Desk Manager, and Oracle Developer/Business Analyst.

Kim Lanier earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Managing Stress" from LinkedIn in October 2022, "Scrum Master Certification" from the Six Sigma Global Institute in October 2022, "Extreme Productivity (Blinkist Summary)" from LinkedIn in August 2022, "Getting Things Done" from LinkedIn in August 2022, and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in August 2022.
