MacArthur Watrous

MacArthur Watrous is a Senior Software Engineer at Kopperfield since September 2023, focusing on home electrification for sustainable futures. Previously, at DoorDash from May 2021 to September 2023, MacArthur worked in the New Verticals organization and led projects, including the development of a HIPAA-compliant prescription medicine delivery platform. Prior to that, MacArthur held the position of Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services from July 2018 to May 2021, specializing in backend engineering for customer issue diagnostics in high availability environments. Early career experiences include roles as a Student Computer Support Technician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and technology development internships at Capital One and UnitedHealth Group. MacArthur earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
