Junhyeok Park

Junhyeok Park is a Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources since January 2021, focusing on smart mining applications and the construction of digital twins for mine operations. Prior experience includes roles as a Database Engineer at Canary Systems, Inc., and various positions at the University of Arizona, where research centered on machine learning for Mine-to-Mill optimization. Junhyeok Park has also completed multiple internships at Freeport-McMoRan, specializing in geomechanical engineering and blasting evaluation. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mining and Geological Engineering from the University of Arizona, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Energy and Resources Engineering from Seoul National University.
