Cathy Merritt

Cathy Merritt is an accomplished merchandising professional with extensive experience in the retail industry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal at Korn Ferry since October 2022, Cathy previously held the position of Senior Director of Merchandising at Nordstrom from September 2020 to May 2022. Cathy's earlier roles include Vice President and Merchandise Manager at New York & Company, where leadership involved elevating product assortments and shaping the casual apparel division. Additionally, Cathy has experience as a Brand Merchant at Delias and in various buying roles at Pacific Sunwear, Anthropologie, and Wet Seal, Inc. Cathy holds a Master of Science in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Entrepreneurship, with a minor in Cinema Television, from the University of Southern California.
