Saniya Hussain has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they gained work experience at St. James University Hospital Eye Clinic, where they observed patient consultations and shadowed ophthalmologists and optometrists. In 2018, they served as a student volunteer at NCS - National Citizen Service Trust and worked as a retail and e-commerce assistant at Oxfam. Saniya also participated in the Reach For Excellence program at the University of Leeds during their sixth form studies, attending workshops and events focused on various subjects. In 2019, they had a work experience opportunity at DAC Beachcroft LLP. Moving forward, in 2021, Saniya worked as a welfare tribunals supporting officer at Citizens Advice and as a volunteer staff (retail assistant) at Leeds Hospitals Charity. In 2022, they worked as a retail assistant at Primark, where their responsibilities included cash transactions and processing gift cards. In 2023, they took on the role of a student mentor at IntoUniversity, and they are also set to become a student brand ambassador for Kortext.
Saniya Hussain attended Allerton Grange School from 2013 to 2018, where they completed their GCSE's. Saniya then went on to study at Allerton Grange Sixth Form from 2018 to 2020, focusing on A levels. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Leeds and is expected to graduate in 2024 with an LLB Law degree.
