Jocelyne Beaulieu, CHRL has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Jocelyne most recently held the position of Head of People and Operations at Koru, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they founded and worked as a consultant at Kin + Culture since October 2021. Jocelyne also served as the Director of People Performance and Culture at Proof from February 2022 to October 2022. In their previous role as Head of People and Culture at PILOT COFFEE ROASTERS from June 2020 to November 2021, they played a crucial role in developing and managing the company's human resources strategies. Jocelyne also served as a People and Culture Manager at PILOT COFFEE ROASTERS from June 2018 to May 2020. Before joining PILOT COFFEE ROASTERS, Jocelyne worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Sim from October 2016 to June 2018, and as a Human Resources Lead at The Seaboard Transport Group from September 2014 to September 2016. Jocelyne began their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Merlin Entertainments plc from February 2013 to September 2014, and as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Ross Aldridge LLP from October 2008 to October 2012.
Jocelyne Beaulieu, CHRL, holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph. Jocelyne has obtained various additional certifications, including the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in 2016. Jocelyne also holds certifications from Textio and Raw Signal Group, specializing in interrupting bias in hiring, providing equitable performance feedback, and improving leadership skills.

Founded in 2019, Koru exists to drive value creation and grow the overall enterprise value of OTPP’s portfolio companies by partnering with them to identify, validate, build and oversee new disruptive business opportunities that leverage unfair advantages. Ultimately, this is in service of providing the pensions of the teachers of Ontario. Since 2019, Koru has built and launched 9 new ventures across a variety of industries and geographies including child care, field safety, customer service innovation, financial services, e-commerce logistics, elder care and climate tech/energy transition.
