Leif Sørensen

Leif Sørensen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 1989, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they developed applications and prototypes in C, Smalltalk, and C++. Leif also provided technical support on object-oriented design and programming.

In 1991, Leif joined CDSL as a Smalltalk Consultant, where they consulted on the design and extensive programming of the Bluegum banking solution. This involved working with Smalltalk clients, IBM mainframes, COBOL servers, CICS, and DB/2.

From 1992 to 1995, Leif worked at Credit Suisse as a Team Manager. Leif led a team of 11 Smalltalk developers and successfully delivered and maintained Smalltalk-based applications for the bank's credit approval process.

Leif then became the Technical Director, Partner, and Senior Consultant at Object Oriented Ltd in 1995. Leif was responsible for recruiting, managing, and supporting consultants, as well as being the technical contact person for customers. Leif provided consulting services for various companies, including ABB, UBS, Swiss Exchange (SWX), Credit Suisse, Banc Pictet & Cie, and Siemens Nixdorf.

In 2002, Leif joined Maersk Data as a Team Manager, before moving to IBM Transport & Logistics in 2004 as a Project Manager. At IBM Transport & Logistics, they were responsible for developing a new e-commerce application suite for Maersk Line.

Leif then transitioned to Praqma in 2007, where they became a Partner and later the CEO. Leif held this position until September 2020 when they became the Business Director Eficode Scandinavia at Eficode. In this role, they oversaw the transition and operations until November 2021.

Most recently, as of December 2021, Leif Sørensen has taken on the role of COO at Kosli.

Leif Sørensen completed their education at Aarhus University from 1981 to 1987. Leif obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science during this period. Prior to their university education, they attended Viborg Katedralskole from 1978 to 1981, although information regarding the degree and field of study is not available.
