Denton Kernodle

Denton Kernodle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Denton began their career as an Accountant and Auditor at Mitchell Energy and Development in 1992. In 1996, they joined Unocal as an Auditor before transitioning to Apache Corporation later that same year. At Apache Corporation, Denton served as an Audit Manager from 1996 to 2011, followed by roles as Director of Risk Management from 2011 to 2014, and as Director of A&D Transactions from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, Denton joined Kosmos Energy as Vice President of Internal Audit, a position they held until 2020 when they took on the role of Vice President of Insurance & Internal Audit.

Denton Kernodle earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Harding University, graduating in 1992. Denton then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Houston Christian University between 1997 and 2000. In 2010, Denton attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management for an Advanced Management Program for Oil and Gas Industry Executives. Denton is also a Certified Public Accountant, registered in the state of Texas.
