Katie Rickel 🎁

Katie Rickel has had a diverse and impressive work experience. Katie began their career in 2014 as a Public Relations Volunteer and Consultant for the WWU Associated Students Ethnic Student Center. In 2015, they took on multiple roles including Senior Vice President for the Public Relations Student Society of America, Online Editor for The Western Front, and Reporter and Public Relations Intern for Curator. In 2016, they were promoted to Volunteer Engagement Manager for Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County. In 2019, Katie joined Kotis Design as an Account Executive and was promoted to Corporate AE in January 2021. In this role, they achieved 75% of annual sales projections in 2020 and met 2021 sales projections during slow industry growth. Katie also exceeded revenue targets and reached nearly 200% of quota for new deals signed in 2022. Katie has been an active participant in DEI committee and a member of several ERGs, as well as an ally leader in one of them. Katie is also known as a great teammate.

Katie Rickel has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Relations and Journalism from Western Washington University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to this, they attended Washington State University from 2012 to 2013. In addition, they have a Volunteer Management certification from Habitat for Humanity International, which they obtained in March 2017.
