Georgios Koumartzis

Georgios Koumartzis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Kotsovolos since August 2007, Georgios has crafted and executed the company's People Strategy focusing on talent acquisition, personal growth, and employee well-being, leading to multiple HR awards in 2020. Previous roles include Head of Human Resources and HR Manager, where responsibilities encompassed developing learning strategies, implementing compensation policies, and enhancing employee engagement. In addition to corporate achievements, Georgios holds an Instructor position for Strategic Human Resources Management at the University of Piraeus and has a strong marketing background from previous roles in various organizations. Georgios earned an MBA in International Business from Birmingham Business School and a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus.
