Avi Bashan

Avi Bashan has been in the cyber security field since 2005. In that time, they have held various roles for different companies. From 2005 to 2010, they were a Security Researcher/Developer for the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). From 2010 to 2012, they were a Security Consultant for Comsec Consulting. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Security Researcher/Developer and Security Architect for Lacoon Mobile Security, which was later acquired by Check Point Software Technologies. From 2015 to 2016, they were a R&D Team Leader for Check Point Software Technologies. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, they were a Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University and a Co-Founder and Advisor for Kovrr, a startup operating in the cyber risk quantification space.

Avi Bashan attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a B.Med.Sc in Medical Science.
