Nicola Turnbull

Nicola Turnbull is an experienced urban designer currently providing services at Motu Design Ltd since August 2022, while also developing expertise in urban design reviews for local government. Parallel to this role, Nicola serves as a part-time sales assistant for Kowtow Clothing Ltd, a leading sustainable fashion brand in New Zealand. Additionally, Nicola has taken on responsibilities as a professional teaching assistant at The University of Auckland, focusing on mentorship in urban planning and design. Previous experience includes roles as acting financial controller, accessories merchandising lead, and sales advisor at COS, where Nicola contributed to the successful launch of the flagship store in Auckland. Early career experiences feature positions at Tesco and Minuteman Press, as well as a personal assistant role for interior stylist Megan Morton. Nicola holds a Master of Urban Planning and Urban Design from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor's degree in Interior & Environmental Design from the University of Dundee.
