Iain Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several notable companies. Iain is currently working at KP Snacks as the Head of Demand Planning, a role they took on in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Demand Planning (Maternity Cover) at KP Snacks from 2022 to 2023. Before joining KP Snacks, Iain was the Demand Planning Manager at the company from 2020 to 2022.
Before their time at KP Snacks, Iain worked at Asahi UK as the Head of Operations and Supply from 2015 to 2020. Iain played a crucial role in transforming the supply chain function and delivering annual cost savings while improving customer lead time.
Prior to their role at Asahi UK, Iain worked at Shell as a Supply Chain Optimizer (Planning Manager) from 2013 to 2015. At Shell, they achieved significant profit growth, improved petrol station stock outs, and proposed capex developments to increase flexibility and reduce costs.
Iain also has experience working at DHL, where they held roles such as Solutions Engineer, Supply-Chain Manager (British Airways project), and Supply-Chain Manager from 2004 to 2013. During their time at DHL, they achieved numerous accomplishments, including improving forecast accuracy, reducing inventory, and implementing low-cost country sourcing.
Iain's career began at DHL (Exel Logistics at the time) in 2001, where they worked as a Site Manager and later as an Inventory Manager. Iain successfully managed operations, delivered a contract renewal, and implemented inventory strategies.
Iain's work experience also includes a role as a Logistics Manager at British Steel/Corus from 1994 to 2000, where they managed large-scale rail-based distribution and optimized the order book and production processes.
Iain Harris pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of Exeter during the years 1991 to 1994.
