James Mogannam

James Mogannam has over 30 years of experience in structural engineering management and design. He has broad expertise in all aspects of project delivery, including preparation of fee proposals, negotiation of contracts, development of work plans, budget monitoring, and management of sub-consultants. Jim’s extensive experience includes both new construction and renovation for hospitality, museums and libraries, multi-family housing, healthcare, higher education, science and technology, federal government buildings, and commercial office buildings. He has particular expertise in seismic evaluation and renovation of historic structures including federal government buildings, hospitality, museums and libraries, and commercial office buildings. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC) Existing Buildings Committee, providing review and commentaries on guidelines, codes, and standards (such as ASCE 41, CBC Division VI-R, and the IEBC) as it relates to the evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings.
