Maria Athanassoulias

Maria Athanassoulias is a Senior Consultant in Deal Advisory at KPMG Canada, where employment began in September 2025. Prior to this role, Maria served as a Senior Consultant in Corporate Development and as a Category Business Analyst at Canadian Tire Corporation from July 2020 to August 2025. Earlier experience includes a Summer Intern position in Business Systems and Technology at Burgundy Asset Management Ltd. and a Treasurer role for the Hart House Social Justice Committee. Additional roles include Assistant Volleyball Instructor at the University of Toronto and Events Manager with the Rotman Commerce Consulting Association. Maria holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College, completed in 2020, and has studied Modern Greek Language and Literature through the Aristotle's Greek High School Credit Program.
