Sylvia Yong

Sylvia Yong is a seasoned immigration lawyer and manager at KPMG Law, specializing in U.S. and Canadian immigration since July 2019. In addition to current roles at KPMG Law, Sylvia holds leadership positions within various associations, serving as the Canada Chapter Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer for the American Immigration Lawyers Association, as well as chairing the Young Lawyers Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Previous experience includes key leadership roles in the Ontario Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and positions at boutique immigration law firms and larger law practices. Sylvia Yong earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from The University of British Columbia.
