Brian Trauman

Brian Trauman is a seasoned professional in risk management and tax, currently serving as the National Partner-in-Charge for Tax at KPMG since May 2010. His extensive experience includes roles as Chief Data Officer for Tax and National Lead for both US Transfer Pricing Dispute Resolution and the US Transfer Pricing Practice at KPMG. In addition, Trauman is a member of the OnCon Senior Council, which comprises top executives discussing industry challenges and trends, and serves as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for Behind the Book. Prior to KPMG, Trauman was a Partner at Mayer Brown LLP specializing in Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy, and held positions as Attorney-Advisor at the US Tax Court and Legal Clerk/Intern at various law firms. Trauman holds multiple law degrees, including an LLM in Tax Law from New York University School of Law and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, along with a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida.
