Jean Blascos

Jean Blascos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of auditing and assurance. Currently serving as Partner and Deputy Head of the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG France since October 2005, Jean has significantly contributed to the development of international audit standards through a role as a Member of the IAASB Board from January 2011 to December 2016. Prior experience includes positions such as SEC Filing Review Partner at KPMG US Capital Markets Group, Senior Manager in Information, Communication and Entertainment at KPMG France, and Supervising Senior Auditor at KPMG US. Jean's career in auditing began as an Auditor at KPMG France in 1989. Academic credentials include a degree from ESSEC Business School and studies at Lycée Louis le Grand.
