Rolf Velthuys

Rolf Velthuys has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, serving as a Product Owner and Architect at KPN since 2002, overseeing various aspects of billing, master data management, and BSS architecture. Rolf has played a critical role in the development and simplification of KPN's Mass Market services, contributing to major strategic initiatives, including the Hussel Portfolio and Gigabit offerings. In addition to this role, Rolf has been a Docent Onderzoeker at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen since 2010, leading multidisciplinary student research projects in renewable energy and smart technology. Previous positions include consultant roles at Solvision and Planet Technologies and research positions at KPN Research, the University of Waterloo, and IBM European Networking Center. Rolf holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bern and an engineering degree in Informatica from the University of Twente.
