Dr Prakash Eswaran

Dr. Prakash Eswaran currently serves as the Head of the World Skills Training Centre at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology since May 2022, focusing on enhancing student skill sets for participation in global competitions. Dr. Eswaran's academic career includes roles as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology from July 2018 to May 2023 and from June 2008 to May 2023, respectively. Early in their career, Dr. Eswaran worked as an Engineering Trainee at IDEA Pvt Ltd, specializing in pipe support design. Dr. Eswaran holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai, along with a Master of Engineering in CAD/CAM and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from Kongu Engineering College.
