Sara Robbins Apr

Sara Robbins, APR has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the fields of social media, public relations, and event planning. Sara started their career as a Lead Cashier at Torrid in 2005 and then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Madsen, Kneppers, and Assoc. Inc in 2006. Sara then moved on to become a Programming Assistant at Student Success Services/Office of the Associate Vice President in 2009, where they excelled at administrative tasks and increased attendance and recruits for various programs. Sara then became a Facility Supervisor at Joe Crowley Student Union from 2007 to 2010, where they oversaw building operations and assisted in event promotion and implementation. Sara also worked as a Company Manager at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival in 2010, where they managed accommodations and planned social events for festival participants. Sara then transitioned to the role of Social Media Associate at QuinStreet from 2008 to 2012, where they provided social media support, implemented campaigns, secured media coverage, and created press releases and site content. Sara then joined the Grand Sierra Resort as a Public Relations and Community Affairs Manager from 2012 and 2013, where they coordinated media coverage and spearheaded events and promotions. Sara continued their career at The Bauserman Group as a Public Relations and Social Media Manager from 2013 to 2014, where they strategized and implemented social media content, created PR strategies, and coordinated special events. Sara then worked as a Publicist for the Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Eldorado Resort Casino, and Circus Circus Reno from 2014 to 2020. Currently, they are currently working as the Director of Social Media at KPS3, where they lead the social media division, defines and grows the agency's approach to social media and influencer relations, and serves as a thought leader on social media as a marketing tool.

Sara Robbins, APR attended Palo Verde High School from 2002 to 2006, where they achieved High Honors. Sara later enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, and English Writing. In 2008, they briefly studied at Imperial College London, focusing on History and Theatre. Additionally, they obtained a certification in the Sprout Social Platform from Sprout Social, Inc. in May 2023.
