Ashley Yu Jung Kim

Ashley Yu Jung Kim is an experienced interpreter and translator currently serving at KRAFTON Inc. since June 2024. With a strong background in patent translation and interpretation, Ashley has been contributing to the World Intellectual Property Organization since July 2018, holding the positions of Patent Translator and Translation Fellow. From January 2023 to May 2024, Ashley worked as an Adjunct Faculty member in Korean Translation and Interpretation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Previous roles include interpreter/translator at Striking Distance Studios and SK hynix memory solutions America Inc., as well as a translator at Sendbird. Ashley began their professional journey with an internship in localization project management and has held multiple positions at the University of California, Berkeley. Educationally, Ashley earned a Master of Arts in Conference Interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
