Andreas Straarup

Andreas Straarup has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andreas is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Kraftvaerk since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Group CCO at Kraftvaerk from June 2021 to June 2022. Alongside their role at Kraftvaerk, they are also an Advisory Board Member at Nordic Minds GmbH since January 2022.

Before joining Kraftvaerk, Andreas Straarup worked as an Advisory Board Member at Ducksuite from February 2018, focusing on visual marketing platforms. Prior to that, they held various roles at Monstar Lab, Inc., including Group CCO from January 2020 to June 2021 and Managing Director for UK & ME from September 2016 to October 2019.

Andreas co-founded Presidents Institute, an international institution specializing in executive development and peer learning for CEOs and senior executives. Andreas held several leadership positions at Presidents Institute, including Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder from June 2015 to September 2016, Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder from September 2014 to June 2015, Managing Director London & Co-founder from July 2013 to September 2014, Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder from January 2011 to July 2013, and Admissions Director & Co-founder from August 2008 to December 2010.

Andreas Straarup also co-founded Board Company, where they served as a Board Member from July 2012 to January 2014, providing personal insurance for board members in collaboration with RiskPoint A/S and a Lloyds syndicate in London.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Senior Associate and Financial Sales Associate at Saxo Bank, specializing in advice and financial sales of stocks, derivatives, futures, and forex. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at Lebara Mobile in 2006.

Throughout their career, Andreas has held various leadership and advisory roles, demonstrating their expertise in executive development, digital product development, visual marketing, and financial sales.

Andreas Straarup pursued their education with a focus on executive education and management. In 2005-2006, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. This was followed by a Graduate Diploma in Organization & Management from the same institution, completed in 2007-2010. In 2009, they attended an Executive Education program at Columbia Business School, delving into Negotiation and Decision-Making Strategies. Andreas further enhanced their skills in executive education by attending programs at The Wharton School in 2011 (Leading and Managing People) and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012 (Accelerated Development Program).
