Elena Shchenkova

Elena Shchenkova has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Elena started their career in 2010 as a Private Teacher in Danish, where they focused on teaching the language and creating educational materials. In 2011, they joined Interresearch a|s as a Technical Communication Manager, a role they held until 2014. During this time, they also served as a Project Assistant for One Hundred Years "The Russian portrait" under The Art of Me project from 2011 to 2012. In 2014, Elena joined Kraftvaerk as a Consultant before progressing to the role of COO from 2015 to 2019. Elena then became the CEO & Country Manager for Russia from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Elena is serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kraftvaerk starting from 2022.

Elena Shchenkova completed their Bachelor of Philology in Danish Language and Literature at Saint Petersburg State University from 2006 to 2010. Elena then pursued their Master of Linguistics in Scandinavian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, with a focus on the Danish language, at the same university from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they briefly studied Scandinavian Studies at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
