Brendan Ahern

Brendan Ahern is the current Chief Investment Officer at KraneShares, a position they have held since February 2013.

Previously, Ahern was the Director at iShares from February 2001 to February 2013. There, they were responsible for managing and developing the iShares product line which included over 100 exchange traded funds.

Prior to that, Ahern worked as a Sales Associate at Salomon Brothers Asset Management from January 1999 to December 2001 where they were an internal wholesaler.

Ahern began their career as a Sales Associate at Neuberger & Berman from January 1997 to December 1999 where they were responsible for retail sales.

Brendan Ahern has a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis (MSFA) from the University of San Francisco, a Bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross, and two graduate degrees from Golden Gate University.
