Tami Fauver

Executive Director & Chief Curator at Krasl Art Center

Tami Fauver serves as the Executive Director and Chief Curator of Krasl Art Center since May 2008, leveraging extensive experience in the arts sector. Prior to this role, Tami worked as an Arts Writer for Cleveland Scene and Angle: A Journal of Arts and Culture, providing critical reviews of local museum and gallery exhibitions from January 2003 to August 2007. Additionally, Tami held positions as a Curatorial Research Assistant at the Cleveland Museum of Art in 2005 and as the Assistant Director of Education at the Minnesota Museum of American Art from July 2000 to July 2003. Tami holds a Master's degree in Art History and Museum Studies from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from the University of Minnesota Duluth, along with a high school diploma in Visual Art from the Perpich Center for Arts Education.

Our Goal: To provide communication and aesthetic appreciation of the visual fine arts, through the use of education The Krasl Art Center offers monthly exhibitions in four galleries. Our permanent collection of contemporary sculpture can be viewed on our grounds and around our community. Docent lead tours can be arranged by calling the Krasl Art Center's Education Department or pick up your free SculpTour brochure at Krasl. Art classes and workshops are offered onsite in a wide variety of artistic media: pottery, painting, jewelry making, drawing for the beginning or established artist of all ages.
