Alan Caldwell

Alan Caldwell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical engineering sector, currently serving as the Strategic Initiatives Manager at Kraton Corporation since March 2020. Previously, Alan held the position of Plant Manager and served as Technical & Operations Director at Kraton Formosa Polymers Co. from April 2018 to March 2020. Alan's career at Kraton Corporation began in January 2006, where Alan advanced through various roles, including Technical Manager, Project Design Engineer, Technical Lead, and Lead Process Engineer. Key responsibilities have included supporting the design and startup of new manufacturing plants, capital project management, process safety management, and mentoring new employees. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
