Michael Bilyeu

Michael Bilyeu is an accomplished leader in the defense and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Programs at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since September 2025. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at the Applied Research Institute, including Director and Manager of Technical Programs, and served as the Director of Emerging Technologies at NineTwelve. Michael's expertise encompasses operations, business strategy, and technical leadership across multiple domains, including Hypersonics, Space, 5G, and Cybersecurity. Additionally, Michael has experience in management as the Owner/CEO of Inner Fit Nutrition Inc. and worked as an Advanced Power and Propulsion Engineer at NASA. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
