Mike Rice has extensive experience in the defense and security industry. Mike started their career as a US Air Force Officer in 1993 and served until 2001. In 2001, they joined Kratos Defense and Security Solutions and progressed through various roles including Program Manager, Business Area Manager, Vice President of RF Communications, Vice President of Signals, Navigation & Test, and Vice President of Satellite Ground Systems. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Mission Solutions, where they are responsible for strategy, business growth, customer engagement, and sales for the Federal group of Kratos Space division. Mike'sexpertise lies in Space to Ground communications, Satellite C2, SATCOM, and Space Domain Awareness within the DoD, IC, and other Federal communities.
Mike Rice has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Mike went on to earn a Master of Science degree in an unspecified field of study from The George Washington University between 1993 and 1995. In 2009, they attended Columbia Business School for Executive Education, focusing on Strategy. In 2011, they pursued Executive Education in Finance at Columbia Business School. Lastly, in 2013, they completed an Executive Education program in Product Innovation at Harvard Business School.
