Raymond Levering

Raymond Levering has extensive experience in the field of security and defense solutions. Raymond currently holds the position of Sr Director of Security at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where they lead a team of 15 direct reports and works closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment between cyber security, IT, and the broader organization. Raymond has successfully optimized investments across the IT and security budget, resulting in the elimination of duplicative costs. Prior to Kratos, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Cosmic Advanced Engineered Solutions, where they managed a large team and played a significant role in the design of a classified facility, which earned ICD-705 accreditation. Raymond also has experience as a Principal Security Analyst at ManTech, where they received recognition for outstanding performance and led a high-performing team through information system audits. Raymond has interacted with senior government officials, including the Secretary of Defense, and has been awarded the Team Member of the Quarter.

Raymond Levering completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix in 2021. Raymond then pursued a Master of Information Systems degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at the same university from 2022 to 2023. Raymond also obtained additional certifications including a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) certification and a Site Security Manager (SSM) certification from Singularity Security Group LLC, both in 2023. Additionally, they earned an Advanced Cybersecurity Certificate from the University of Phoenix in 2021.
