Tim Ferguson

Tim Ferguson has had a long and successful career in the engineering field. Tim currently holds the position of Vice President and Distinguished Engineering Fellow at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since May 2022. Prior to this, Tim worked at Southern Research for nearly two decades, where they held several roles of increasing responsibility. These positions include Distinguished Engineering Fellow, Senior Director of the Mechanics Research Department, Director of the Mechanics Research Department, Team Lead and Manager of Hypersonic Structures, and Research Engineer III of Hypersonic Structures. Tim's expertise and experience in the field make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Tim Ferguson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arkansas from 1994 to 1998. Tim then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2000. Tim furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004.
