Shakaib Faridi

Shakaib Faridi has a diverse work experience, starting from 2013. Shakaib worked as an Assistant and later a Finance Officer at Friendship Dairies Private Limited, where they managed receivable aging, monitored production and sales, and handled corporate and non-corporate billing. Shakaib also had responsibilities in farm operations, specifically herd management.

In 2016, Shakaib joined Siddiqsons Dairies Private Limited as an Assistant Manager Finance, where they managed treasury, monitored production, sales, and receivables, and processed payroll for management and non-management staff.

Shakaib then worked as a Senior Accounts Executive at Siddiqsons Group, where they handled supplier payments, reconciliations, and export realization postings.

From 2018 to 2019, Shakaib worked at Foocha Holdings as a Senior Finance Executive, where they were responsible for bookkeeping, food cost tracking, and preparation of monthly accounts. Shakaib also worked as an Internal Auditor, conducting routine audits and implementing audit SOP.

At BDO Pakistan, Shakaib worked as a Supervisor Outsourcing. Shakaib was deputed at Schneider Electric Pakistan, where they reviewed and posted payroll and banking transactions. Shakaib also worked as a Supervisor Outsourcing at Powerchina Harbour Co. Limited, where they handled bookkeeping in QuickBooks.

In 2021, Shakaib joined Alkaram Studio as an Assistant Manager Internal Audit, where they performed WIP & RTW audits, supervised Hand Over-Take Over audits and branch audits, and oversaw closure audits.

Currently, Shakaib is working as an Assistant Manager Finance at Krave Mart (YC S22). Their responsibilities include working on services sales tax, GST, and fixed asset register maintenance.

Shakaib Faridi's education history begins in 2004, where they completed their Matriculation in Computer Science from Karachi Board. In 2007, they pursued their Intermediate education in Commerce from Karachi Board.

In 2009, Shakaib enrolled at Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honors degree. The program focused on Business Administration, Management, Accounting, and Finance. Shakaib graduated from this program in 2012.

Continuing their academic journey, Shakaib then joined the Institute of Cost & Management Accountant of Pakistan in 2014. Shakaib is currently pursuing a Professional Certification in Cost & Management Accountant, a field of study that combines knowledge of both cost management and accounting. Shakaib is expected to complete this certification in 2024.
