Ashish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Northridge, California, USA. Over the last 15 years Ashish has grown to head paddy procurement for the firm. He also leads the Gautam Buddh Nagar facility. He has spearheaded the development of resilient and high yielding seeds, and also introduced new technology while ushering in efficiencies at the plants.
With his passion, KRBL’s contact farming model has scaled up to around 95,000 farmers covering around 300,000 hectares of paddy cultivation. The emphasis is in mitigating pesticide usage while instituting best practices for better and sustainable packaging.
The Gautam Budh Nagar facility has transformed into an integrated unit with improved procurement, production and seed development along with cost optimisation across supply chain. Ashish is presently involved in enhancing material handling and storage, supporting good agri-practices, fostering improvement in quality of product while encouraging paddy cultivation devoid of pesticides.
