Abhayraj Naik is an accomplished academic and practitioner specializing in environmental justice, climate action, and law. Currently serving as Visiting Faculty at Krea University and the National Law School of India University, Abhayraj teaches courses on environmental justice and related subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, Abhayraj is the Coordinator for Strategy, Research, and Learning at Pipal Tree, overseeing initiatives on interfaith peace building and climate action. As a co-founder of the Initiative for Climate Action launched on Earth Day 2020, Abhayraj focuses on community engagement in climate solutions. Previous roles include significant faculty positions at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru Central University, the University of Minnesota, and research at the Environment Support Group, reflecting a strong background in interdisciplinary education and policy advocacy. Abhayraj holds a Master’s degree from Yale Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from the National Law School of India University.
