Marnix Schrooyen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marnix most recently served as the Global Sales Director at Kreon since 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Commercial Director at Unifor SpA from 2017 to 2018, where they focused on custom produced solutions for demanding clients. From 2014 to 2017, Schrooyen worked as the Sales Director at Luceplan, managing the global sales network and transforming the distribution strategy. Marnix also gained experience as a Business Development Manager at FontanaArte SpA from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they worked at Philips Lighting in various roles such as International Key Account Manager, Channel Sales Manager for Russia, and Sales Manager for Export, where they managed teams and developed international relationships. Schrooyen started their career at Massive as an Area Sales Manager, managing distributors worldwide. Prior to that, they had roles as a Product Manager and Linguistic Researcher at Vantage Learning and completed an internship at AHLERS. Through their work experience, Schrooyen has gained expertise in sales, business development, international account management, and team management.
Marnix Schrooyen completed a Postgraduate in business management with a focus on Strategy, Sales & Marketing at VLEKHO Business School Brussel in 2002-2003. In 2006, they also completed a Proficiency course in Sales Management at Kluwer Sales Management. In 2004, Marnix completed a Proficiency course in Negotiation Skills at the University of Antwerp. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Spanish from Ceran Language University in 2005. Marnix's highest level of education is a Master's in Interpreting, with a specialization in Russian-English-Dutch, which they earned from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerp from 1995 to 1999.
