Maryam Ashrafkhorasani

Maryam Ashrafkhorasani is currently serving as a Glaucoma Fellow at Kresge Eye Institute since August 2024 and as a Research Fellow at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, also starting in September 2023. Prior experience includes a Research Fellow role at Doheny Eye Institute from September 2022 to September 2024. Educational achievements include a Fellowship in Glaucoma from Wayne State University, ongoing since August 2024; a medical speciality degree in ophthalmology from IRAN University of Medical Sciences, completed between 2015 and 2019; and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, earned from September 2007 to September 2015.
