Praveen Ashok Kumar is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Navigation FuReV specialist at Volkswagen since June 2024, Praveen is responsible for End-End Navigation functionality within the One Infotainment system using Android. Prior to this role, Praveen held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Krian GmbH and a Software Development Consultant at IAV GmbH, where responsibilities included overseeing technical deliveries for various car modules and managing new feature development. Previous experience includes serving as a Technical Specialist at Continental, where oversight of the Chip Card area for the Digital Tachograph project was conducted, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, where HMI design and development for car multimedia systems were primary focuses. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, completed in 2011.
