Tina Lafranchi

Tina LaFranchi has been Director of Legal Affairs at Kripalu since October 2016. She has always been interested in partnering with organizations whose missions are aligned with high ethical standards and values, and is happy to have found that here at Kripalu.

Tina obtained her law degree as an adult mother of three sons. Her studies were inspired by her earlier experiences as a juvenile probation officer, litigation paralegal, and volunteer on a number of nonprofit boards. Her experiences as a law clerk to the Superior Court judges and then at the Massachusetts Appeals Court in Boston led to her appointment there as general counsel to Chief Justice Phillip Rapoza. In that role, she advised on internal employment matters, labor relations, compliance, and policy development.
