Austin Hay

Austin Hay has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing technology. In 2022, they worked as the Head of Marketing Technology at Ramp. Austin also served as a Partner and Martech Teacher at Reforge, where they collaborated with growth and product experts to share knowledge on martech. Austin founded The Marketing Technology Academy, an online learning center, and later sold it to Reforge in 2022. Austin has advised and consulted in marketing technology as a Managing Partner at HBE Ventures and as a Martech Advisor at Bain & Company, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Warby Parker. Austin has also provided marketing, martech, and growth advice as an advisor for Krisp and Notion. Additionally, they served as the Vice President of Business Operations at Runway, overseeing various departments.

Austin Hay has a diverse education history. Austin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Wharton School. Austin also pursued two Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees from Stanford University, specializing in Management Science & Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering respectively. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Critical Approaches to Leadership, at the University of Southern California.

Austin achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation from the University of Virginia and is also a Certified Remote Pilot (Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) certified by the Federal Aviation Administration. Austin has certifications in fields such as marketing technology, cloud computing, terraform automation, and has also been ordained as a marriage minister. Austin is an experienced scuba diver and holds multiple diving certifications, including Open Water Dive Master, EANX Diver, Master SCUBA Diver, and Open Water SCUBA Diver. Additionally, they are trained in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED.

Austin also possesses non-educational certifications, including being an Electronic Notary Public (e-Notary) and a traditional Notary Public, both recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
