Melik Karapetyan

Melik Karapetyan is a highly experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Krisp since September 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing engineering teams across various domains such as Web, Data Analytics, and DevOps. Melik has held multiple roles at Krisp, from Engineering Manager to Principal Engineer, contributing to the development of AI technologies and scalable backend infrastructures. In addition, Melik serves as a Tech Advisor at Prelaunch.com and as a Scientific Researcher at Yerevan Physics Institute, with several notable publications in theoretical physics. Melik has also taught a Cloud Engineering course at Armenian Code Academy and has experience as a Software Engineer at Sticker Market, Inc. and a Web Developer at Web-Dorado. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Yerevan Physics Institute and Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Yerevan State University.
